Workshop: Empowering Education Digitally – Strategies, Tools, and Best Practices for Modern Classrooms

Bara Telecommunications Networking, in its effort to enhance the quality of education in Botswana and provide teachers with the best teaching and learning experiences, hosted a workshop in conjunction with the Ministry of Basic Education at Tlokweng Education Center. The workshop, titled “Empowering Education Digitally,” explored strategies, tools, and best practices for modern classrooms. Participants learned about innovative digital teaching methods, the effective use of learning management systems, and integrating assistive technologies. The session aimed to equip educators with the skills needed to create engaging, interactive, and inclusive learning environments, ultimately enhancing educational outcomes and student engagement in today’s digital age. This state-of-the-art, digital-compliant equipment integrates Learning Management Systems (LMS) and smart technologies to support hands-on practice in water management. This significant investment aims to provide students with practical experience using the latest technology, preparing them for real-world challenges in the field of water management.

Gaborone University College (GUC) enhanced its lecturers’ expertise in digital water treatment technology through a collaborative effort with GNUT and BTN. This initiative provided comprehensive training on cutting-edge digital tools and smart technologies, integrating Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support hands-on practice. The collaboration aimed to equip GUC lecturers with the skills necessary to effectively teach and implement advanced water treatment solutions.
